Ok, I'm almost completely packed. I'm getting psyched to head off to the land down under tomorrow morning. As for when I'll be back, who knows. I'll keep everyone posted.

I bought my ticket not too long ago. I'll be heading to Sydney on the 28th of November. I'm having the pre-travel jitters right now. I'm afraid that when I get there, something will go terribly wrong or something. But I can't wait to get there. Its going to be a blast. I have a myspace page. The address is http://www.myspace.com/ashleylchurchill. I just updated the layout and it looks awesome. I don't update the content too often. But i'll try stay more up to date in the future. Its the easiet way to keep in touch with the guys back home. I know alot of people forget about me. WELL DON'T!

Hey guys and gals, Ashley is back in town!

I got home the night of the 21st after an 11 hour flight from Germany. Returning home is bittersweet. I'm glad to have the comforts of home again. Regular coffee, my own room, showers without someone bangining on the door begging to get in. But there is a sense of satisfaction about being in a far away land on your own that you just don't get here. I can't wait to travel abroad again.

I think taking this trip was one of the best things that I have done for myself. I feel more in touch with the world and have a new respect for other cultures.

As for my next adventure, I'll be going down under to Australia sometime late this year. I have discovered that I have an insatiable hunger for travel. I don't think I will ever stop.

Hey everyone. Its 1:20pm EST.

I'm leaving tonight. I can't wait. I have a transfer in NYC then its all about the 11 hour flight to Amman. I know most people like to sleep on the plane, but I plan on drinking lots of red bull and keep awake. Its going to be 5 pm when I arrive, and I want to be awake and alert for my trip to Petra. If you're unaware of where Petra is, its a city about 4 hours south of Amman. Its renowned for its architecture from about 2000 years ago. If you've seen Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade; near the end, when Indiana and the guys go into the "Canyon of the Cresent Moon" its actually 'The Treasury', probably the most popular momument in Petra. It (as well as most of the other structures in Petra) was carved straight out of the side of a gorge. This is what it looks like>>>>>>

I'm starting this blog to keep in touch with all the folks back home. Its Wendesday evening. So I have a few more days until I leave. The first country that I'm going to is Jordan.
