Christmas in Australia

I'm bit of a scrooge when it comes to Christmas. I see 'God' the same way I do as the tooth fairy. But I was curious as to how the Australians see the 'Festive Season'. They have pretty much all the same traditions that they do in Canada. I orignally planned on going to a party near Bondi Beach. But after seeing only 10 people in the pavillion and hearing the price tag of 80 dollars (perhaps why there was such a poor turnout), I decided to make other plans. I laid out on the beach for a while (it was 26 degrees and sunny after all)IMGP1238.JPG and walked around town for a while. I had ice cream in leau of a turkey dinner.

I don't have much else planned for the evening. I'm going to see "The Holiday" in a minute.

Anyhoo, seasons greatings to those that buy into it.
