Just arrived in Dublin. No matter how beautiful, old, or interesting a city is; it is the locals that make it or break it. If they don't accept travellers, then its just not worth visting. The Irish are some the most warm and friendly people that I've met so far. They're neck and neck with Greece and Switzerland in that department. I highly reccomend Ireland as a place to visit.

I never had Guiness before. I managed to save my Guiness virginity to drink it in it's homeland. I had it at Guiness Storehouse today. Its pretty much a Guiness museum. Where they tell you how its made, the details about the ingreients, the history, etc. At the end, they give you a free pint.

One thing to keep in mind, its more concentrated than most beers. Therefor, you get a buzz almost instantly. I fell down the stairs twice while leaving!

When the lady poured it, she did it in a way that left the shape of a shamrock in the foam. You have to look really close to see it.

I went to the Dublin Castle right after. I was a bit drunk at the time, so the details are fuzzy.

Peace and Love,

-AC
